Responsibilities include:Creating storyboards: thumbnail/rough storyboard panels through delivery of finished storyboard sequencesEnsuring that the vision and style of the show is consistently adhered to through execution of action, staging, dialogue and cameraPitching storyboards to Director, crew and ExecutivesAddressing notes from Director and Creative SupervisorsCollaborating with creative department heads and production to review goals and vision for the storyboards and discuss concerns, timelines and complexity, given the parameters of the schedule; Responsible for completing all deliverables on time and according to production schedule and within guidelines/show parameters such as number of scenes, complexity requirements, etc.Ensuring that storyboard includes all final dialogue, backgrounds, direction, camera moves and action by making drawing or text changes in description, dialogue or numberingSubmitting work that appropriately aligns with production and workflow guidelines requirements (i.e., naming conventions and storage)Additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications and SkillsMinimum of 2 - 3 years storyboard experience and/or training on a similar showKnowledge and experience with television animation production pipeline a plusKnowledge of software and hardware including Cintiq, Toon Boon Storyboard Pro, and PhotoshopAbility to align with style and sensibility of showStrong in comedy, action, emotional storytelling, and character interactionStrong staging, composition and cinematography skillsAbility to draw characters and environments on model within show styleAbility to write clear and specific direction on storyboardsSolid and consistent time-management skillsEducationBachelor degree or equivalent work experienceJob LocationThis is a fully on-site role based in Glendale, CAThe pay rate for this role in California is $68.02 to $ 74.32 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
