In this role, you will own the delivery and implementation of data and AI-enabled products and use cases, acting as the main liaison between Joint Staff Directorates and the technical development POD. You will ensure customer requirements are translated into actionable product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, and drive execution to meet Department of Defense mission objectives.What You'll Be Doing:Serve as the primary Product Manager for the Joint Staff CDAO development POD, owning the end-to-end implementation and successful delivery of data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilitiesAct as the main liaison between Joint Directorate leadership (J-Dir), mission owners, and technical POD resources, ensuring alignment of customer requirements with product vision, strategy, and executionGather, analyze, and synthesize customer requirements and mission needs, translating them into a clear product roadmap and prioritized feature backlog based on business value and mission impactDrive iterative delivery: define user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures; ensure the development POD is focused on the highest priority workManage stakeholder expectations, proactively communicate progress, and facilitate recurring product reviews, demos, and working sessionsEscalate relevant blockers, risks, or dependencies that impact POD velocity or delivery, and coordinate with leadership to resolve issuesEnsure continuous feedback loops between end users, stakeholders, and technical teams to maximize adoption and mission valueCoordinate cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, analysts, cybersecurity, etc.) to deliver high-impact capabilities on schedule and within scopeMonitor product performance and user satisfaction, refining the roadmap and backlog to drive continuous improvementSupport CDAO governance, strategic planning, reporting, and executive briefings related to Joint Staff data and AI initiativesStay current on emerging product management and AI/data delivery practices; identify opportunities for innovation and improvementWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of hireBachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, data science, or a related field, or equivalent experience5-7 years of product management or technical delivery experience, including direct responsibility for driving product implementation and cross-team executionDemonstrated experience acting as a primary liaison between customers (business/mission owners) and technical delivery teamsProven ability to gather, prioritize, and translate customer requirements into actionable product roadmaps and feature backlogsStrong track record of managing iterative product development, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder communication in Agile or hybrid delivery environmentsExperience facilitating product reviews, managing stakeholder expectations, and escalating blockers to ensure delivery successExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiencesWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or U.S. Government organizationsExperience working with Chief Data and AI Offices (CDAOs), enterprise data programs, or digital transformation initiativesUnderstanding of AI/ML product development, responsible AI, data governance, and model lifecycle managementExperience managing a product portfolio or POD team; skilled at balancing competing priorities and aligning work to business valueFamiliarity with Joint Staff Directorates, Joint operational processes, or DoD mission requirementsExperience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similarProduct management, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or related professional certificationAdvanced communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience developing executive briefings and product strategiesSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
