Requirements

MD or DO

Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

Active or eligible New York medical license

Active or eligible DEA registration

Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications, as applicable

Significant Emergency Medicine experience

Prior Medical Director or clinical leadership experience preferred

Strong knowledge of ED operations, quality metrics, patient flow, and performance improvement

Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
