Title I Teacher with ESL Endorsement

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team at Clara Bolen Elementary as a Title I Teacher with an ESL endorsement. This full-time position is designed for a professional who is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students, particularly those from low-income backgrounds and English language learners. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing engaging instructional strategies, assessing student progress, and collaborating with families and staff to promote student success. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized and small group instruction tailored to meet the academic needs of Title I and ESL students. Assess student progress regularly through formal and informal assessments, using data to inform instruction and intervention strategies. Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and adapt curriculum and instructional materials that support diverse learners. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, participation, and a love for learning. Provide professional development and support to staff regarding best practices for teaching English language learners and Title I students. Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed of student progress and provide resources for supporting learning at home. Participate in school-wide initiatives and collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions, and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed. Stay current with educational research and best practices in Title I and ESL education to continually improve instructional strategies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Valid teaching certification with an ESL endorsement. Experience working with Title I and/or ESL students preferred. Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Proficient in using technology for instruction, assessment, and communication. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
