Our independent internal medicine practice is seeking a friendly, dependable, organized medical receptionist to help patients feel welcome and keep front-office operations running smoothly.
- Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and completing check-in and checkout.
- Scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and following up on cancellations and missed appointments.
- Answering phones, documenting messages, and routing clinical requests to the appropriate staff.
- Verifying insurance information and providing referral requirements.
- Collecting authorized copayments and payments.
- Managing forms, faxes, scanning , medical records; assisting patients with prior authorizations to access medications and imaging
