Volunteers of America Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho is launching a new Integrated Behavioral Health Clinic, and we're looking for an experienced LMHC or LICSW to help shape services from the ground up. This is not a traditional community-based behavioral health role. Our clinicians are paid for their full 40-hour workweek, not just time spent in sessions. We believe quality care includes treatment planning, care coordination, documentation, crisis response, consultation, team collaboration, and professional development. As a full-time clinician, you'll have a realistic productivity expectation of approximately 20-25 billable hours per week, allowing time to provide the thoughtful, integrated care participants deserve. While VOA is known for meeting people where they are through community-based and housing-focused services, this clinic offers a unique opportunity to provide treatment in a professional outpatient environment designed specifically for integrated care. The clinic focuses on serving individuals experiencing mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring challenges through a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented model.What You'll DoClinical ServicesConduct behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluationsDevelop individualized treatment plans and measurable goalsProvide individual, family, and group therapyDeliver evidence-based interventions, including:Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Motivational Interviewing (MI)Solution-Focused TherapyAcceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)Behavioral ActivationDBT-informed interventionsEMDR when appropriateMonitor participant progress and adjust treatment strategiesConduct risk assessments and crisis interventionsDevelop safety plans and coordinate higher levels of care when necessaryIntegrated Care & Team CollaborationCoordinate care with SUDPs, Care Coordinators, Peer Support Specialists, and community partnersParticipate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetingsProvide consultation and case review supportMaintain timely clinical documentationParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activitiesRequirementsThis position is a great fit for clinicians who:Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary teamBelieve in trauma-informed, person-centered careValue collaboration and integrated treatment approachesCan balance empathy with strong clinical judgmentAre comfortable working with diagnostic complexityEnjoy helping build innovative programs and servicesWant to make a meaningful impact in their communityMinimum QualificationsRequiredActive Washington State LMHC or LICSW licenseMinimum of one year of clinical experience after obtaining full licensureMeet Washington State Mental Health Professional requirementsExperience working with diverse populationsExperience supporting individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, poverty, or housing instabilityExperience using electronic health recordsAbility to pass a Comprehensive Criminal History Background CheckPreferredTwo or more years of outpatient behavioral health experienceExperience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disordersExperience working with youth, young adults, or unhoused populationsExperience in integrated behavioral health settingsKnowledge of Medicaid documentation requirementsFull-Time | 40 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday. Typical operating hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
