Akkodis is seeking a Senior MySQL DBA for a Fulltime position with a client located in New York City, NY . Salary Range: $150,000 to $160,000/Year (the salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors) Title: Senior MySQL DBA Location: New York City, NY Position Summary We are seeking an experienced MySQL DBA with a strong operations focus to manage and optimize mission‑critical MySQL and Redis environments. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, security, and operational excellence across production systems. Required Qualifications 5+ years of MySQL production operations experience. Strong understanding of InnoDB internals (transactions, locking, MVCC). Experience with MySQL replication and high‑availability architectures. Hands‑on SQL performance tuning experience. Production Redis experience. Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ. Scripting ability in Shell or Python.
