HR Generalist

Custom Staffing has partnered with a local Manufacturing Company to add an HR Generalist to their team in Lima, OH. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. They are looking for someone that is reliable and detail-oriented to support their human resources functions. Custom Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay and medical insurance. Position: HR Assistant Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Pay Rate: $23.00 Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR Operations Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws maintain and update employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company and legal standards assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and HR initiatives Investigate and help resolve employee concerns or workplace issues Recruiting, Onboarding & Orientation: recruiting, interviewing, processing employees Communication: communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management regarding HR matters. Record Keeping: process and track employee benefits, PTO and other documentation. Other duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in an HR role preffered in a manufacturing environment. Computer experience: MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Communication: Good written and verbal skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset.
