Cath Lab Technologist - Day Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position with a 4x10 hour day schedule from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekend, overnight, and holiday call may be required.

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for assisting with a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role involves working with diagnostic and interventional equipment to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Assist in the placement and removal of intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).
• Set up and maintain equipment used in the procedures.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac catheterization.
• Valid ARRT or CCI (RCIS) certification in hand at the time of submission.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
