RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Cath Lab Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM). Overnight, weekend, and holiday call required.

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the cardiac catheterization lab setting. The candidate will perform various roles, including operating and assisting with interventional procedures while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their stay. Previous experience in electrophysiology (EP) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Assist physicians during procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license.
