Position Overview

As a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions. Working in a highly technical and fast-paced environment, youll assist in procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and device implantations. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety during these complex and specialized procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients and the procedural area for cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and interventional procedures

Monitor and assess patients vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures, responding promptly to any changes

Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of care

Administer medications, IV therapies, and sedation as required, following strict protocols

Educate patients and their families on procedure preparation, recovery, and ongoing cardiac care

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in compliance with facility protocols
