Mechanical Drafter II

Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Mechanical Drafter II in Sacramento, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact:
- Produce accurate mechanical drawings that keep projects moving.
- Cut field rework through tight coordination with engineers and PMs.
- Build the documentation backbone for HVAC and piping installs.
- Grow into a senior design or BIM role over time.

Responsibilities:
- Draft mechanical, piping, and HVAC drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with engineers on design intent and revisions.
- Incorporate redlines and produce as-built drawings.
- Maintain CAD standards, blocks, and title block libraries.
- Assist with quantity takeoffs as requested.
- Manage drawing logs and revisions.
- Plot and distribute drawings to field teams.
- Support BIM coordination meetings.
