Registered Nurse (RN) For Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Located in the city of Santa Barbara, California, Cottage Children's Medical Center is recognized today as a regional referral center for the medical needs of infants, toddlers, and children throughout the tri-county area.The primary focus of the 22 bed, Level III, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (served by a dedicated RN/RCP Transport team) is the provision of critical nursing care to the infant in crisis. The neonatal patient may suffer from a wide variety of medical conditions such as prematurity, respiratory distress, meconium aspiration syndrome, hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, sepsis and surgical conditions requiring pre and post-operative care.
