**Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech!**

**Job Description:**

- **Profession:** Radiology / Cardiology
- **Specialty:** Cath Lab Tech
- **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)
- **Schedule:** Monday to Friday

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Work in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs
- Perform a variety of procedures including:
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
- IABP Placement/Removal
- Interventional Catheterizations
- Left Heart Catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Right Heart Catheterization

- Administer medications involving:
- Antiarrhythmics
- Antihypertensives
- Emergency Medications
- IV Vasopressors
- Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
- Reversal agents
- Thrombolytics

- Conduct IV therapy, including:
- Blood Product Administration
- IV Infusion Pumps
- Starting IVs

**Required Skills & Certifications:**

- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS

**Preferred Experience:**

- Additional procedures:
- ASD Closures
- Cardiac Implant Closure Device
- Impella Insertion
- Rotablader Atherectomy
- Scrub Procedures
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR)

- Vascular Studies/Procedures:
- Angioplasty
- Dialysis Graft Interventional
- Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography

- Assist with Central Line Insertion/Management, PICC Lines, and Implanted Ports

**Patient Population:**

- Engage with patients referred to the Cath Lab for a range of cardiovascular diagnoses/symptoms, including:
- Coronary Artery Disease
- Heart Failure
- Valvular Disease
- Pulmonary Hypertension
- Congenital Heart Disease

**Job Details:**

- **Ratios:** 1:1
- **Call Requirement:** One day a week and every fifth weekend
- **Float Requirement:** Will float as needed
- **Weekend Requirement:** None
