About the Job
Apple Tree Dental Studio is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to become part of our dedicated team in Avondale, AZ. Our practice is known for delivering outstanding dental care in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with various procedures and treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Ensure patient comfort and provide support throughout dental visits
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment scheduling
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of dental practice experience, Dentrix knowledge preferred
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Certified/licensed as a Dental Assistant in Arizona
- Radiography certification required
- CPR certification is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
