As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, deterring criminal activity, and responding to potential security incidents. Responsibilities and Duties Security Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter criminal activity and enforce security procedures. Threat Assessment: Identify potential security risks and promptly report any suspicious activities or individuals to the appropriate authorities. Access Control: Monitor access points, check credentials, and enforce proper entry procedures to restricted areas. Armed Response: Be prepared to respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, maintaining composure and acting professionally under pressure. Firearms Handling: Demonstrate proficiency and adherence to firearm safety protocols while carrying and using weapons. Safety Measures: Implement and enforce safety measures to prevent accidents, injury, or harm to individuals on the premises. Emergency Response: Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services in the event of a crisis situation, providing crucial support and information. Coordinate with monitoring: Utilize surveillance systems to monitor premises and identify potential security breaches. Incident Documentation: Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports for any security‑related events, ensuring all information is properly documented.
