As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management and entry protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request appropriate support when needed. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in accordance with site procedures, and report maintenance or access-control concerns to designated personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
