About the Role We\'re looking for an Operations Manager who loves solving problems, improving processes, and building systems that help an organization scale. This is a highly visible role that works directly with our executive leadership team to improve every stage of our sales and funding operation—from submission workflows and lender relationships to technology, automation, and operational strategy. You\'ll become an expert on every stage of our sales and funding process—from application through funding and throughout renewals—and work alongside our executive team to improve workflows, implement automation, strengthen lender relationships, and help scale our operations as we continue to grow. This role sits at the center of nearly every department. As the nucleus of operations, you\'ll partner daily with Sales, Underwriting, Executive Leadership, Technology, and our Lending Partners to ensure our business runs smoothly and efficiently. What You\'ll Own Learn and become an expert in CapFront\'s entire funding lifecycle—from initial application through funding. Oversee the operational flow of deals, ensuring submissions move efficiently through every stage of the pipeline. Review and document existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, scope out an optimization plan and implement improvements that increase speed, accuracy, and scalability. Create, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments. Partner closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Leadership to ensure operational consistency and an exceptional customer experience. Process Improvement & Business Operations Continuously evaluate how we operate and identify opportunities to streamline processes across the organization. Take ownership of operational projects from concept through implementation. Recommend and execute improvements that eliminate manual work, reduce turnaround times, and improve the experience for both employees and customers. Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Operations, Technology, and Executive Leadership. Help build the operational foundation that allows CapFront to continue scaling efficiently. Technology & Operational Systems Partner with our internal technology team and external vendors to continuously improve the systems that support our business. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. Help oversee enhancements to Salesforce, Heron Data, DocuSign, Dialpad, lender portals, APIs, and other business systems. Test new tools and system updates to ensure they support our operational processes and improve the user experience. Work closely with leadership to identify technology solutions that help the business scale more efficiently. Support the planning and coordination of lender visits, office meetings, and partner events. Help create a best-in-class experience for our lending partners when they visit CapFront, working alongside our team to ensure every interaction is organized, professional, and welcoming. Assist with onboarding new lending partners and supporting strategic partnership initiatives. Submission & Funding Operations Take ownership of CapFront\'s submission process from an operational perspective. Evaluate how deals are packaged, submitted, tracked, and funded to improve efficiency and reduce friction throughout the process. Identify trends that impact funding speed and approval rates, then implement process improvements. Ensure submission standards remain consistent across the sales organization. Work closely with Sales and Underwriting to maximize funding success. Executive Partnership Work directly alongside CapFront\'s executive leadership team on high-impact operational initiatives. Participate in strategic planning discussions and help turn ideas into executable processes. Act as a trusted problem solver across departments. Help prioritize projects that improve scalability, customer experience, operational efficiency, and employee productivity. Help shape the future operational infrastructure of one of the fastest-growing companies in the SMB lending space. What We\'re Looking For We\'re less concerned with checking every box than we are with finding someone who is naturally curious, highly organized, and excited to improve the way businesses operate. The ideal candidate is someone who loves figuring things out, enjoys creating order out of chaos, and gets energized by making teams more efficient. You Likely Have Bachelor\'s degree preferred. 2–5 years of experience in Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Project Management, Financial Services, FinTech, or a similar role. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with executives, sales teams, lenders, and technology partners. Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset—you don\'t wait to be told what needs fixing. A passion for process improvement and operational excellence. Bonus Points Experience in small business lending, fintech, banking, or merchant cash advance (MCA). Experience managing or improving operational workflows. Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and business automation. Experience creating SOPs, documentation, or internal training materials. Salesforce experience or CRM administration. Experience working with technology vendors or software implementations. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
