Job Summary:
A Nursing Professional specializing in the Intensive Care Unit is sought for a facility located in Concord, North Carolina. This position involves providing critical care to ventilated, stroke, thrombectomy, overdose, endotool, CRRT, GI bleed, and trauma patients. The role requires working night shifts and supporting patients within a dynamic ICU environment that emphasizes teamwork and clinical excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of ICU experience; valid licensure as an RN; certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all facilities listed within the region as needed, within scope of practice.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidate must start as soon as possible.
  • Critical care skillset required: management of invasive lines, ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound care, and blood products.
  • Support staff: CNA, hospitalist, intensivist, RT, phlebotomy RN, and support within the department.
  • Technology/equipment: EPIC electronic medical record, Alaris IV pump, Phillips monitors, Arctic Sun, Hemosphere, Belmont rapid transfuser, and LifeFlow device.
  • Orientation: 2 days departmental.
  • Clinical environment: high teamwork culture with night and day shift collaboration.
