Pay: $25 to $28 per hourThis is a local driving position. You'll be home daily, working with a steady team, not running long-haul routes.This role is a great fit for a dependable driver who takes safety seriously, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable loading, securing, delivering, and unloading materials in different job site conditions.The role requires a Class A CDL driver with experience driving on steep grades, mountain roads, and off-road job sites. Experience with flatbeds, dump trucks, securing loads, and construction or stone materials is preferred.Why Drivers Like This RoleLocal routes and home dailyHands-on work, not just drivingSteady team environmentFamily-owned companyWork that supports real construction and landscaping projectsAdditional legal benefit option available for commercial drivers, including support for traffic-related legal mattersResponsibilitiesAs a full-time Driver, you are responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently while supporting yard and customer operations.Your responsibilities include:Deliver products to customers, contractors, job sites, and store locationsSafely drive on steep grades, mountain roads, and off-road job site conditionsLoad, secure, and unload materials using appropriate equipmentOperate flatbed or dump trucks in compliance with safety standardsInspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operationMaintain accurate delivery records and follow assigned routesFollow DOT regulations and company safety policiesAssist with loading and yard operations when neededProvide excellent customer service during deliveriesPerform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concernsQualificationsValid Class A CDL with proper endorsementsValid Medical CardClean driving recordSteep grade, off-road, and mountain driving experience requiredExperience operating flatbed or dump trucks preferredExperience securing loads with straps and chains preferredAbility to meet physical job requirements including lifting and working outdoorsAbility to pass a dr*g screeningExperience operating loading equipment preferredProfessional attitude and dependable work ethicCandidates must be willing to provide professional references during the hiring processSpanish is a plusScheduleTypical schedule is Monday through Friday during business hours.
