The Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community partners to create a welcoming campus environment, strengthen student belonging, and remove barriers to student success.Plan, coordinate, and assess student activities, campus events, and programs to promote engagement, belonging, leadership, wellness, and student successProvide oversight, guidance, and support for recognized student organizations and serve as the Student Leadership Council advisorSupport leadership development opportunities and student participation in state, regional, and national conference and competitions, including GOAL and SkillsUSACoordinate community service/volunteer opportunities for student involvementCoordinate the College’s emergency assistance and lending library programManage the OASIS Food Pantry and coordinate support for the Career Closet and other basic needs resourcesDevelop and monitor budgets for student activities, student organizations, and emergency assistance programs in collaboration with the Vice President for Student AffairsCoordinate purchasing, contracts, supplies, facilities, vendors, and other logistical needs associated with student programs and eventsMaintain accurate records related to student organizations, activities, emergency assistance, budgets, participation, and program outcomesPromote student activities and resources through collaboration with PR & Marketing and the use of email, social media, and other digital platformsDevelop and distribute the weekly Sizzler student newsletterMaintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when working with sensitive student and financial informationComply with all TCSG and College policiesProvide support College events including commencement, scholarship banquets, golf tournaments, and recruitment eventsPerform other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university *and* three (3) years of related work experienceNote: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Applications softwareExperience in a higher educational environment, preferable in Student AffairsSALARY/BENEFITS:Commensurate with qualifications.APPLICATION DEADLINE:Open Until FilledTO APPLY: Please submit an online application using the OTC online job center website.
