As a Security Officer Full Time Distribution Center in ANAHEIM, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and documenting security-related activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift 

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and driver access records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report irregular conditions, policy violations, and damaged access-control equipment according to site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
