Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a School Psychologist supporting students in grades K-8. In this flexible, part-time role near Aurora, CO, your expertise will help nurture positive school experiences and provide valuable support to teachers and administrators. This position is perfect if you’re seeking meaningful engagement in a dynamic educational environment three days per week.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with K-8 students, preferably in school settings
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling techniques
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention and support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for K-8 students
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop individualized support plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support teachers in implementing classroom strategies that address diverse student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information
