Senior Manufacturing Technology Engineer

Your role at Clorox Manufacturing Technology Packaging Staff Engineers work in a participative, team‑based environment using World Class Operations processes and principles. The Staff Engineer participates on teams developing, designing, installing and starting‑up new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades for larger projects. This role plans and leads small to medium sized projects and provides practical solutions to complex problems with minimal assistance. Responsibilities Lead capital project management, design, and construction management activities. Provide technical problem solving and engineering services. Conduct project technical feasibility evaluations. Perform engineering administrative duties. Support process improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance within project teams. Participate in technical seminars for departmental or cross‑functional training. Train and coach site operations and maintenance teams. Advocate for engineering innovation within the functional department. Deliver project safety performance objectives. Support project objectives during planning and execution. Support cost‑saving initiatives and project spending objectives. Provide technical expertise and insight to the team on business and engineering needs and proposals. Lead multiple projects in accordance with Clorox Project Management Standards to achieve required results, timing, and budgetary targets. May lead multiple projects over $1,000,000. Qualifications 5+ years of engineering experience. Degree in BSME, BSEE, or BSChE. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD, and Emulate 3D. Experience with CI methodology. Ability to influence and accomplish work through others. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coach and develop self and others while completing work assignments. Experience with team interaction techniques. Workplace Type Hybrid – 3 days in office; 25‑75% travel.
