Company Enormous Enterprise LLC Job Title Data Warehouse Engineer Location Plano, TX (Hybrid) 3 days onsite 2 days remote Duration 12 months Contract (with high possibilities of extension) Visa W2 with 12 months visa validity Salary DOE Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, and manage Linux-based processes and infrastructure for data warehousing. Identify and implement system/architecture improvements. Enhance various Linux-based toolsets, scripts, jobs and processes. Enhance ETL/database load/extract processes. Required Skills And Experience Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer with a strong emphasis on Shell Scripting and Oracle development. Practical working experience in Linux environment setup and shell scripting. Practical knowledge of Unix file systems including basics of mount types, permissions, standard tools, pipes. Working knowledge of Python and preferably also Perl. Practical working experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata. Understanding of the Agile methodology. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Passion for automation and continual process improvement. Minimum 5 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field. Desired Skills And Experience Practical working experience using ETL tools, preferably Informatica. Practical working experience using orchestration tools, preferably Airflow with Python.
