Janitor -1st & 2nd Shift

Lapeer area high precision, high volume machining company is looking for Experienced Janitors to join their team. This is an automotive parts manufacturing facility. 1st and 2nd Shift available. Pay is based on experience, starting at $15-18 per hour. Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume to be considered. 1st Shift 5:30AM - 4:00PM and Second Shift 4:30PM- 3:00AM. Mandatory overtime is required most weeks, including Saturdays. Preferred candidates will have worked in a manufacturing facility previously. Apply Now!
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Cleaning of Bathrooms twice daily
2. Maintaining and cleaning lunchroom
3. Remove Trash in production and pack area
4. Check and refill supplies as needed
5. Mop Buckets: change water as needed.
6. Run Floor sweeper
7. Run Floor scrubber

The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Building maintenance experience, a plus
