The amazing Landscape Laborer position we post for today plays a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces by performing a variety of hands-on tasks. Working primarily at a fixed location and as part of a small team, this role supports the overall beauty and health of lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas under the guidance of a supervisor or crew leader.

 

Responsibilities

• Planting and cultivating flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Weeding gardens and landscaped areas
• Applying mulch to protect plants and improve soil quality
• Preparing soil for planting through tilling and fertilizing
• Providing routine lawn care including mowing and edging
• Removing debris and ensuring grounds are clean and tidy
• Operating basic landscaping equipment safely and effectively
• Supporting overall grounds maintenance and material handling

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level landscaping experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of gardening tool operation
• Physical stamina to handle demanding outdoor work
• Strong teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
• Effective time management
• Awareness of safety procedures
• Good communication skills
