Job Opportunity: Clinical Educator in Neurology

Our organization is seeking board-certified or board-eligible neurologists who are eager to pursue a career as a Clinical Educator in the field of neurology. We value a comprehensive interest in clinical neurology, and while a subspecialty focus is not mandatory, candidates with such interests are encouraged to develop them alongside our existing subspecialty programs. Potential subspecialty areas may include:

• EMG/Neuromuscular (fellowship training preferred)
• Movement Disorders
• Neuro-Otology
• Headache Management
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Functional Disorders
• Dementia

This role offers a flexible mix of responsibilities, including participation in neurology clinics and overseeing our general neurology teaching ward service, tailored to the candidate's interests. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about educating neurology residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a sense of clinical responsibility, collaboration, and holistic patient care. Faculty development opportunities through seminars and conferences aimed at enhancing neurology education are supported, along with chances for clinical research and educational outcomes.

Our neurology department operates within a newly established tertiary academic medical center, an expanding regional medical center, a faculty clinical practice, and a Federally Qualified Health Center. Compensation and Benefits

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $240,000 to $290,000, adjusted based on years of experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
