Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency and independent practice in oncology care settings.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side-effects and treatment efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and timely.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers while identifying issues and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact license.
• Ability to work full-time night shifts from 7PM to 7AM.
• Willingness to fulfill weekend shift requirements as needed.
