Schivo Medical is seeking to hire an experienced Milling operator, as an employee you will tackle a wide array of problems, including some of the world’s greatest medical challenges.

CNC Machine Milling Operator Position Overview:

  A CNC Milling Operator sets up, runs, and monitors numerical control milling machines to cut and shape precision metal or plastic parts.

CNC Machine Milling Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify components are produced to print (dimensional and visual inspection)
• Change tools.
• Make offsets.
• Load material and remove scrap.
• Fill out various paperwork.
• Simultaneous operation of multiple machines
• Minor troubleshooting
• Inspect finished machines parts. 

CNC Machine Milling Operator Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

• Proven experience with lathe/mill turning machines.
• Experience with CNC Milling machines.
• Experience using the Fanuc control preferred. 
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T symbols).
• Working knowledge of various materials & tools (inserts, endmills, drills)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills and positive can-do attitude
• Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to stand for several hours.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
