Postwave QC Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Postwave QC to join their team. As a Postwave QC, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting manufacturing and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Postwave QC

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Range: $25.00-$26.00/hr

Shift: Swing Shift (2:30 PM-11:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Perform PCBA inspection (defect detection) of Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts based on IPC-A-610 and Customer Requirements.
• Review and understand Manufacturing Process Instructions, product documentation, and deviations.
• Report non-conformance or defects during manufacturing using the DGS system (Venture's MES System).
• Conduct First Article Inspection for Through-Hole and Mechanical Parts.
• Verify component polarity, markings, orientation, height, and placement prior to soldering.

What's Needed?

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of inspection experience following IPC-A-610 standards for surface mount and through-hole technology.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.
