The environment is fast-paced, with an emphasis on remote collaboration, accountability, and results. Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Legal Counsel. The Legal Counsel will review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk standards. The role involves identifying and analyzing legal issues, providing clear and actionable legal advice to internal stakeholders, and preparing legal documents and templates to support business operations. The Legal Counsel will collaborate with cross-functional teams, help develop and refine contract processes, and maintain awareness of relevant laws and regulations affecting the organization. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles to business matters. Experience in Contract Negotiation, including reviewing, drafting, and optimizing terms and conditions. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including agreements, policies, and other formal legal instruments. Ability to identify, analyze, and manage Legal Issues and provide practical Legal Advice to non-legal stakeholders. Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification and active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction. Experience in commercial, corporate, or technology-related law is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity in drafting. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines. High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
