Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, every other weekend required.

Job Description: Join our dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist in our new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. You will provide high-quality patient care supported by state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and create tailored treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including PTs and SLPs.
• Track therapy time and charges to ensure compliance with patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care OT experience.
• Active Kansas licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting.
• Lymphedema Certification.
• Neuro certification/experience.
