Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8 AM - 4 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a complex acute care environment. You will play a crucial role in evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients with a variety of diagnosis groups. This position offers a collaborative team environment with autonomy in care planning.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting occupational therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Managing an active caseload of patients, typically 8-10 assigned to you daily.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months acute care hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Active Kansas licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
