Mammography Technologist

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Mammography Technologist to join a fast-paced Breast Care Imaging department. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing a range of imaging services, including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, bone density tests, and breast biopsy procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography procedures with precision and care.
• Assist in breast biopsy procedures and related imaging services.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout imaging processes.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mammography.
• ARRT certification in Mammography is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Hologic imaging machines is preferred.
