Supplier Quality Specialist

Supplier Quality SpecialistA validation and quality assurance provider is looking to hire a Supplier Quality Specialist for their Troy, NY project site to support a supplier quality team for a 12-month, full-time engagement. Hourly rate $90.00 Position Summary: We are looking for an individual with experience in supplier quality management to assist with the organization and oversight of our supplier list, documentation, and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities: Review and maintain the existing list of suppliers, including ensuring up-to-date status and the products/services each supplier provides Organize supplier-related data to support quality, compliance, and business objectives Revise and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to supplier management Support qualification and monitoring activities for suppliers, including documentation and process review Participate in the issuance and tracking of SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) letters Provide general support for supplier quality and qualification processes Demonstrate strong technical writing skills and organizational abilities Work collaboratively with the supplier quality team and stakeholders Ideal Qualifications: Prior supplier quality and/or supplier management experience Familiarity with qualification, monitoring, and corrective action processes Strong organization and technical documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
