Ideal candidates will have:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessments, data collection, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Proven ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans for diverse learners
- Flexibility and adaptability within collaborative, multidisciplinary environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments for students referred by the educational team
- Designing and implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans
- Providing consultation and training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Collecting and analyzing data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student growth and success
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and ethical guidelines
