Production Team Leader

Job Summary As a Production Team Leader, you oversee and coordinate various aspects of production operations, primarily focusing on customer communications, claim documentation, program compliance, vehicle inspections, and project management. This role requires strong multitasking, team leadership, and successful project execution. The position also includes performing demolition work, specialty cleaning, equipment management, and directing on‑site technicians. Key Responsibilities Customer Communications : Maintain clear communication with customers regarding project status, timelines, and issues; address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly. Claim Documentation : Collect and maintain accurate documentation related to insurance claims and project expenses; ensure all needed paperwork is filed and up to date. Program Compliance : Ensure adherence to industry and company regulations; stay current with changes and incorporate them into production processes. Vehicle Inspections : Oversee inspections to ensure vehicles are safe; schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs. Load and Prepare Production Vehicle : Supervise loading and preparation of vehicles with equipment, materials, and tools. Organize and Order Subcontractors : Coordinate subcontractor activities and schedules; place orders for services and materials. Project Management : Lead and manage the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; monitor progress, resolve issues, and guide team members. Create Estimates for Self‑Paid Jobs : Prepare accurate estimates for self‑paid projects, considering labor, materials, and related costs; present estimates to customers for approval. Discuss Coverage and Scope with Adjusters : Collaborate with insurance adjusters to clarify scope and coverage; address discrepancies to ensure accurate claims. Equipment Rental for Specialty Projects : Arrange rental of specialized equipment; ensure safe and proper use. Update Job Files : Maintain organized and up‑to‑date job files, including plans, permits, and documents; archive completed files per company policy. After‑Hours Rotation : Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation for emergency response; be available for urgent issues. Photograph and Document Damaged Areas : Document damaged areas and repair progress through photos and written reports; use for project records and insurance claims. Qualifications Previous experience in a leadership role within the production or construction industry. Strong knowledge of insurance claims processes and documentation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in project management and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Availability for after‑hours rotation as needed. Valid driver's license.
