Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse in Madison, Wisconsin. This position involves working in a Level 1 trauma center with exposure to emergency cases, transplant, neuro, ortho, vascular, and endovascular procedures. The RN will be responsible for collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient care and operative procedures across multiple service lines, including trauma and transplant cases. Candidates must have strong experienced in neuro, ortho, transplant (kidney or liver), trauma, and vascular, with flexibility to float across service lines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, starting on 08/31/2026, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience within the last 3 years in an inpatient setting, experience in neuro, ortho, transplant, and vascular service lines, charting experience with Epic electronic health record system, and successful completion of a telemetry exam with criteria met in two attempts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, trauma level I or II experience, community hospital or Level I trauma center experience, transplant experience, and experience with multiple service lines including traumas, transplant, neuro, ortho.
• Additional Information: The RN will be involved in multidisciplinary planning, case turnover optimization, and participating in special procedures such as laparoscopic, endovascular, and trauma-related cases. Candidates should be willing to float across all service lines, including trauma and emergency cases, and demonstrate ability to adapt to high-acuity situations.
