SMT Operator - Contract, Hiring Now

The SMT Operator position is available in Westford, MA. This role offers a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for permanent placement, and the company is known for its commitment to lean manufacturing practices.

Shift of the SMT Operator:
Mon-Thur - 6:00am-4:30pm (4 day work week)

Pay Rate/Salary of the SMT Operator:
$22-$26 per hour based on recent SMT experience

Responsibilities of the SMT Operator:

Set-up and operate surface mount equipment.
Perform basic maintenance and assist maintenance technicians as needed.
Identify and report defective components.
Track work progress and communicate line status hourly.
Inspect assembled PCBs to ensure compliance with solderability standards.

Qualifications of the SMT Operator:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
2+ years of recent SMT experience.
Knowledge of workmanship standards and component identification.
Experience with pick and place equipment; Universal Fuzion is a plus.
Basic computer skills and good organizational abilities.
