City and State: Cary, IL Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator Pay Rate: $22.00 - $38.00/hour + 15% Shift Differential + $1,500 Hiring Bonus Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM Employment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Summary Seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to fabricate high-precision machined parts by operating CNC turning and milling centers. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Fabricate precision-machined parts by operating CNC turning centers and milling centers according to work orders, routers, and blueprints. Set up close-tolerance and conventional equipment by interpreting drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals. Perform quality inspections, operational checks, and verify parts using precision measuring equipment. Complete required documentation including forms, reports, logs, and production records. Follow customer requirements while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints. Basic understanding of CNC controls, cutting tools, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with employees, departments, and management. Safety and quality focused with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
