A successful Banquet Server possesses excellent customer service and communication skills.Responsibilities:Assist Banquet Managers in welcoming, serving, and providing a positive experience to members and guests during banquet functionsSetup banquet room as requested by the supervisor to include glassware, service ware, and linenAttend roll call meetings prior to banquet kick off to learn responsibilities and expectationsServe beverages and menu courses in appropriate orderRemove plates, service ware, and glassware as guests and members finish their coursesAbide by all corporate act, laws and requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beveragesReplenish beverages when necessary and check with guests and members to ensure they are satisfiedPerform other related functions that may be assignedQualifications:Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state lawEffective communication skills, strong interpersonal and customer service skillsMaintain composure in a fast-paced environmentHigh School diploma or equivalent experience preferredWorking Conditions:Schedule varies based on business needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Regular movement throughout the venue is required, including time spent at the host stand, bar, dining areas, and service stations. Extended periods of standing and walking are common during shifts. Duties may include reaching, bending, lifting, or carrying items up to 30–50 pounds (such as trays, racks, boxes, or bar supplies). May occasionally assist with resetting tables, moving furniture, or supporting team needs during peak service. Vision requirements may include close, distance, peripheral, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
