TRAVEL - RN - D2 - PCU

Location: Mission Main campus/D corridor

Floor: 2 nd floor (D2)

Shift Type: Day Shift

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds – 20

· # and type of staff:

o Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA

o Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 RN, 2 CNA

· Patient Ratios – 1:5/ 1:6 stretch dependent on level of care

· Inpatient overflow unit w/mixed level of care- medical surgical and/or step-down patients bedded on this unit

· Short stay (<24 hr LOS) patients target to this unit.

· Quick turnover

· Type of equipment – telemetry; if telemetry monitoring indicated, all patients hardwired to bedside monitor.

· EMR - Cerner

· Telemetry competency

· Progressive Care experience

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Recent progressive care experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS and ACLS

Floating Area(s):

· Travelers will be required to float to other units if needed.

Dress Code :

· Scrub Color/Attire - Navy and or/ white top, navy bottom, all white

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

Weekends and On call(if any)

· Every other weekend required, no call required
