Reservoir Engineer for AI Research

Reservoir engineers can apply their subsurface, production, and reservoir-analysis expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and improve AI understanding of real-world reservoir engineering workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Use hands-on reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, and production operations experience to create expert-level training data.
• Assess AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and relevance.
• Provide detailed feedback that strengthens AI understanding of reservoir engineering practices and subsurface workflows.

• At least 2 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering, subsurface analysis, or production operations.
• Experience in roles such as Reservoir Engineer, Petrophysicist, Production Engineer, Reserves Analyst, or an equivalent energy-industry role.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: Spotfire, CMG, MBAL, FracPro, PVTi, WellView, or Petrel.
• Strong written communication, close attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
• No prior AI experience is required.

• Remote, part-time, hourly contract engagement.
• Flexible, asynchronous schedule with no minimum hour requirement.
• Contributors typically work approximately 5 to 20 hours per week while assigned to an active project.
• Project placement depends on current needs, with consideration for future projects as they become available.

Up to $80/hr (depending on the project).
