Job Description

• Craft Individualized Rehabilitation Plans: Assess patient needs and develop tailored therapy approaches aimed at helping them reach their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams: Work alongside other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure well-rounded, comprehensive patient care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their loved ones about therapy methods to promote continuous progress at home.
• Evaluate and Record Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and refine treatment strategies as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing educational pursuits or additional certifications are encouraged and welcomed.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
