Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs direct patient care as assigned by the RN and reports observations, results of procedures, and patient needs to appropriate person.

• Performs psychomotor skills as outlined during educational training and orientation process (see Critical Skills Chcklst).
• Maintains responsibility for cleaning, stocking, and organizing of storage areas.
• Documents pertinent data in concise and timely manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to respond to emergency procedure

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate required
• Paramedic (EMT-P), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) - required
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience required
