Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of health issues, collaborating with physicians or working independently based on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and other therapies in accordance with your practice scope

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent in your specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain them within 90 days)
