What You’ll Do:

• Forklift Mastery (Core Focus): Mastermind the upkeep of our entire forklift operation! You’ll tackle expert diagnostics, rapid repairs, and high-level preventive maintenance on hydraulic masts, drive trains, brakes, and AC/DC electrical systems.

• Production Powerhouse: Perform fast-paced machine changeovers, execute airtight PMs, and solve complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic puzzles using schematics.

• Custom Fabrication: Build, modify, and rebuild custom machinery parts and molds on the fly to boost efficiency and optimize equipment performance.

• Collaborate & Build: Partner directly with Engineering on high-impact upgrades, tackle facility repairs (electrical/plumbing), and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician (Forklift & Industrial Fleet Focus)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Forklift & Fleet Maintenance: Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on forklifts (electric, LPG, diesel) and man lifts. Troubleshoot hydraulic masts, drive trains, brakes, steering, and AC/DC electrical controls. Manage battery service, fuel systems, and mobile safety compliance.

• Equipment & Production Support: Perform daily production machine changeovers. Execute and document preventive maintenance (PM) routines on industrial machinery. Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

• Fabrication & Engineering: Fabricate, modify, and rebuild machine parts, components, and molds using workshop tooling. Inspect parts with test equipment to verify precise tolerances. Collaborate with Engineering to diagnose root causes and improve machine reliability.

• Facility & Operations: Perform basic facility electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs. Assist with spare parts inventory management. Safely operate small equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in heavy forklift diagnostic and repair work.

• Excellent skills in electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Ability to fabricate custom parts and read technical schematics.
