The responsibilities of the bus monitor include, but are not limited to, being responsible for the care of enrolled children while they are in transit from one location to another under the responsiblity of the contracted driver. The bus monitor will maintain conduct and safety of all persons being transported in accordance with accepted Early Childhood Education practices, Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Codes and Transportation Regulations. This is a full time position.

An Act 34 Criminal History Clearance Report, an Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance Report, a FBI Fingerprint Clearance Report and pre-emloyment drug test are necessary, along with all other required employment forms.

Hourly salary is $19.43 per hour. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the classified negotiated contract.
