Job Overview This position supports core human resources functions across the employee lifecycle and helps ensure efficient HR operations, a positive employee experience, and compliance with employment policies and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer the scholarship and ambassador award program, including nominations, review, and selection. Support recruitment activities, interviews, and hiring in partnership with the Recruiter and department leaders. Coordinate and deliver onboarding, orientation, and employee training programs. Track training completion and supports compliance with required certifications and learning activities. Assist with HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, performance management, recognition, and safety initiatives. Respond to routine employment-related questions and elevate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records and HR documentation. Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and separations as assigned. Support employee engagement initiatives and HR process improvements. Maintain HRIS data and assist with audits, reporting, and compliance activities. Stay current on HR trends, employment laws, and best practices. Perform other related duties as assigned. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information. Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and compliance requirements. Analytical, adaptable, and proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HRIS, payroll, and related systems; Paylocity experience preferred. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, required. Five or more years of Human Resources experience preferred. Hospitality industry experience preferred. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
